It all started with a book called Soulful Sydney Explores Diversity, written by Mariam Azeez, Deborah Clarke and Terry Murphy.   From that, the Soulful Inclusion Revolution was born.

Mariam Azeez

My name is Mariam!  I’m a real girl living in New England.

I collaborated on a book about the power of kindness and inclusion.  It’s called Soulful Sydney Explores Diversity.  In the book, I help educate a young girl (and her dog!) about the beauty of diversity.  Our adventure takes us deep inside a “Soulful” Forest.

I work hard towards an inclusive future for marginalized communities in education and have worked with educators to develop an Anti-Bullying study-guide for teachers to help create welcoming spaces for all students. I also believe in encouraging students to learn to communicate well to enable them to make changes in their communities.

Let’s do this together!
